Perhaps my most favourite memory of Scott is, when following a transfer from Edinburgh to Manchester, having not seen us all day, as soon as we arrived on the ward late in the evening, Scott woke up, and was wriggling around and excited to see us. Knowing that your son recognised your voice and was excited to see us was a most precious moment.
